An active library card (MCC college ID) is required to borrow Library materials.
To receive a Community Member Library card, please complete the Library Patron Form (available from Library Services Desk) and present a photo id and documentation with a current address.
Materials may be renewed by phone or in person on or before the due date. Failure to return materials in a timely manner may result in a replacement fine and bill issued to borrower. All materials must be returned and all replacement fines paid before the end of the semester, or hold will be placed on accounts with the Bursar's office, resulting in delayed grades, diploma's, etc.
Items that are not located at this Library can be obtained through interlibrary loan from other CCSNH libraries, or libraries within the United States. Interlibrary Loan items may take up to two weeks to arrive. Plan ahead for materials that will be needed for papers and projects.
Interlibrary loan is not available for alumni and community members.
More information about Interlibrary Loan.
Many instructors will place items on "course reserve" for students to use. Reserve items are kept at the Library Services Desk and can be checked out for a period of two hours. A library card (MCC ID) is required to borrow reserve materials. To see all books on reserve, see the online Course Reserves guide.
|If the chat feature is off, please email us using Contact a Librarian Form above and we will help you as soon as we can. Thanks!|
Instructors: Are you using this guide for your course? Please let us know by email and send suggestions so we can improve it. Thanks! Your MCC Librarians
There are two book drops in which to return materials:
The Library does not charge for overdue materials. However, library users will receive several notices with instructions to return overdue items. Users who fail to return overdue materials after an extended period of time will be billed. Students with outstanding books or fines will have a hold placed on their accounts through the Bursar's Office, preventing registration for classes, graduation, etc.
