MCC Center for Teaching & Learning: Welcome

ELL Academic Support Specialist

Glenn Fearnley

Hi, I’m Glenn Fearnley, the ELL Academic Support Specialist at MCC.  I’ve spent years living overseas studying and also teaching English as a foreign language at the elementary and middle school level.  I know how hard it can be to live and work in a country where you don’t speak the language very well, and how important it is to have a good support system in place.  Over the years I’ve worked at MCC I’ve also seen the tremendous amount of effort ELL students are willing to put into their studies.  If you’re ever working with a student who may speak English as a second (or third, or fourth) language and you feel like they could use some support, please feel free to get in touch with me and let me know at!
