Using Sources Responsibly & Avoiding Plagiarism: Copyright + Fair Use

Using library materials in your courses

You can upload and/or link to materials the library subscribes to in your courses, because subscription licenses generally cover such use. If you have any questions, please ask library staff for help!

Copyright, Fair Use & Creative Commons

Three librarians from CCSNH completed training to become part of the Copyright First Responders network: Kristen Lindsay at MCC and Melissa Laplante at WMCC. We can answer your questions or call on our network for additional information if needed.

Fair Use is a right, and these tools can help you exercise it. Feel free to contact us at mcclibrary@ccsnh.edu if you would like help assessing the four factors of fair use for your course materials.
