The Student Cognition Toolbox

A project of University of New Hampshire Center for Excellence and Innovation in Teaching and Learning (CEITL) and the Carnegie Mellon University Open Learning Initiative (OLI, the Student Cognition Toolbox provides detailed information about study strategies that are informed by research on the science of learning. Research has shown that use of the study strategies described in the Student Cognition Toolbox benefit student learning. It takes about 2 hours to work through this free course, but you don't have to do it all at once -- try applying the strategies to the work you have in your MCC classes, a little at a time.
